Going to be interesting seeing Clifford playing with Richards and Carter. Also it’ll be interesting to see if Brown and Richards decide to show up tonight. Kudos to Doughty for starting the season in pretty good shape. He looks pretty sharp for so early in the season. Scudes on the other hand looks a step slower, but it’s early.
Sure would be fun to see Clifford have a break out season. Love to see him grab this opportunity and never let go.

@KC23, I said it in the last thread but I think Cliffy will do well on that line. His energy and tenacity on the puck and forecheck will help Richards and Carter do there thing. I see at least 1 goal out of thoase 3 tonight (lets hope its Richards or Carter though). Doughty looks good…real good actually! You can see the confidence oozing out of the guy just like it was in last years playoff run…he hasnt missed a beat.

Good Afternoon, you have reached the voice mail of Dean Lombardi, General Manager of the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings. If this is Steve Tambellini please remember the trade of Bernier for Nugent-Hopkins and Taylor Hall will not take place until I have notorized papers from 25 different Doctors that they are healthy. Not that I don’t trust you or anything. If this is Poorman a reminder that I do not make the decision of who starts in goal. If this is ANY East Coast Hockey writer, yes the greeting “Stanley Cup Champions is accurate. Please check You Tube for games that were played last May and June after the Penguins were eliminated. If this is HockeyNerd or DesertKing yes the Star Trek satires were cute but it isn’t quite what we are looking for to replace Rich Hammond. If this is Daryl Sutter please leave a list of player names at the tone and I will start false trade rumors about them so that they will start playing like they did last June. If this is a general manager with a “stay at home” defenseman they might like to trade no you may not have Kopitar, Quick, or Doughty, I was thinking more along the lines of a player to be named later, to be exact the same player you give us as soon as Greene and Mitchell are back in the lineup. If this is Dustin Penner, no, “not dressed” does not mean you can have dinner at IHOP while the game is in progress. If this is anyone else please leave your name and number and for a thousand dollars and a first round draft pick we will let you touch the cup. Beeeeeeeeeeep.

Me taking son out for his Birthday, as he was born on (99) Waynes Jan 26th, both same day different year, and was going to go to that game had tickets tto the year he was born but ended up in the hospital myself that day, so I know what’s it like. In Greener’s abscence on Tue, I was pleasantly surprised by the play of DD2. Dude killed it on the 5 on 3 early. I certainly was not expecting that! Hope he can back it up tonight.

@Deke’r, Its a time zone thing. If games start after 10:30 pm ET to they actually happen? Not to the NHL Network. The last taping on NHL on the fly ends at 11 pm what happens after that is never broadcast on that channel. Like I say to the NHL refs “open your eyes your missing a great hockey game”.

It appears as though the season ending prognosis was some what off. Get better Greene we will need the size come the playoffs. Kings lets roll up the wins, so he doesn’t feel he needs to rush back too soon.

Matt…We will miss you while you are out recovering…Get well soon…look forward to seeing you back healthy and happy and checking and sellin out like you always have to get the win

A rudderless insider: 145 comments so far today.
A painstakingly updated, informative Kings News Daily: 0 comments today.
It hurts to admit it but unless you’re associated with the team or go negative and spout off on a pretentious fan blog, people don’t want anything to do with you.
I’ll keep up the good fight but man, is it disappointing.
