Breakfast of champions in Slovenia

Anze Kopitar’s Friday with the Stanley Cup in Slovenia started sometime after 7 a.m. Twenty minutes later, Kopitar posted a picture on Twitter, followed by a brief video from Phil Pritchard, who is known as the “keeper of the Cup.” Kopitar, it seems, had a bowl of his favorite cold cereal out of the Cup this morning — video linked here — after he, well, got it out of bed.

Phil Pritchard noted that Slovenia is the 24th country that the Cup has visited. Kopitar has been posting a series of awesome pictures from Slovenia today, so to see all of them, check out the Twitter accounts of Kopitar and Pritchard.

Also, on an unrelated note, a reminder that today is the start of the Kings’ development camp in El Segundo, with an-ice sessions now (8 a.m. start), 9:40 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Full information is available by clicking here.
