Stoll in Hermosa, Brown in Torrance

A reminder that newly re-signed Kings center Jarret Stoll will be appearing with the Stanley Cup tomorrow in Hermosa Beach, and there’s also news that captain Dustin Brown will be signing autographs in Torrance on Tuesday night (without the Cup).

On Monday, Stoll will be at Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach for a presentation from the Hermosa Beach City Council and Chamber of Commerce, which is scheduled for an 11:15 a.m. start. After that (at approximately 11:45 a.m.), the Cup will be driven north on the Strand to the border of Manhattan Beach.

On Tuesday, Brown will be at the Sport Chalet store in Torrance (21305 Hawthorne Blvd., at the corner of Torrance Blvd.) to sign autographs for the first 300 people in line. The signing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

    Rich, will there ever be a day for fans who wish to see The Cup up close and perhaps have an opportunity to take a pic with it? Or is it wishful thinking?

    Don’t you just love it when you Google “LA Kings” and that special info box pops up to the right with a big crown in it and a short facts list which starts with “Stanley Cup wins – 2012.” Isn’t that just a beautiful thing?! I was just wondering where we got the other 2011 cause I am really happy with the one we have right now ;)

    @DessertKing,
    Here’re some important numerical trivialities:

    19 + 93 = ’12

    20 + 12 = 32

    10 + 12 + 77 = 99

    19 + 93 + 99 = 211!

    Welcome to the LA KINGS, Nick Ebert, 2012 Draft Pick # 211 !!!

    I had the privilege to meet Dustin yesterday in Van Nuys. He was great in signing and letting me shake his hand. It was a great day! Stood in line for about 2 hours with other fellow Kings fans, they were all great and we were all in such a good mood. I guess that’s what winning a Cup does…makes us humble.

    for those that went to the last Brown signing, any suggestion on how early to get there? I know each location is different, but just want to give myself a good chance to get an autograph.

    kinglouie Reply:

    @Noah, I would get there at least three hours early. I went to Saturday’s signing before 8am (it started at 10pm) and there were at least 100-150 people before me. Good luck
