Recap of Kings draft picks

Courtesy of the Kings’ Instagram account, above is a look at two happy guys: Nikolai Prokhorkin (left) and Tomas Hyka (right), who were two of the Kings’ five draft picks today. Including yesterday’s first-round pick, Tanner Pearson, here’s the rundown of all six of the Kings’ picks in this year’s draft, with links to the posts with more information on each player…

FIRST ROUND
No. 30 — Tanner Pearson, LW, Barrie (OHL) — plus an interview with Pearson

FOURTH ROUND
No. 121 — Nikolai Prokhorkin, LW, CSKA (Russia)

FIFTH ROUND
No. 151 — Colin Miller, D, Sault Ste. Marie (OHL)

SIXTH ROUND
No. 171 — Tomas Hyka, RW, Gatineau (QMJHL)
No. 181 — Paul LaDue, D, Lincoln (USHL)

SEVENTH ROUND
No. 211 — Nick Ebert, D, Windsor (OHL)

Also, the Kings traded a seventh-round pick (No. 183) to Dallas for a 2013 seventh-round pick.
