After the parade, the Kings and 18,000-plus friends went inside Staples Center for a rally in which the team was introduced and several players, coaches and front-office members spoke. Jonathan Quick made the folks at Fox Sports West choke a bit with his creative way of praising his teammates, Darryl Sutter brought down the house with some fist-pumping and Dustin Brown gave a heartfelt tribute to Bob Miller, who did an outstanding job as the event emcee. I went up and sat in Bob and Jim’s booth and got some pictures of the scene…
