Sunday (non-)skate update

The Kings stayed off the ice this afternoon, as had been expected. Drew Doughty, Dustin Brown, Anze Kopitar and Darryl Sutter came out to meet with the media, with all facing the same type of questions and giving the same type of answers, about not feeling any panic and still being in a good situation in the series.

Kopitar probably summed up the (publicly-expressed) mood the best when he said, “We’re still in, obviously, a really good spot. If somebody had told us that we were going to go up 3-2 going home, to have a chance to close it out, I think everybody would sign that paper. It’s just a matter of going out there and getting it done.” more notes and quotes to come…
