Fraser postgame quotes (June 9)

Colin Fraser’s postgame thoughts..

(on the game…)
FRASER: “Every game is a tight game. You go back to Games 1 and 2, and either team could have had it. Then you go to Games 4 and 5, and either team could have had it. It’s funny how it goes. They found a way to score one more than us.’’

(on facing some adversity in the playoffs…)
FRASER: “Of course it’s adversity. We wanted to close it out in Game 4 and we didn’t, and then close it out tonight, but we’re still in a good spot. We worked hard to get up three games. We’re going back home. Obviously not the result we wanted, but we’re still in a good position.’’

(on the first road loss of the playoffs…)

FRASER: “I thought we started great, actually. They got kind of a cheesy goal that goes in. I think Willie hits the post. Our first period was great. We were unfortunate to be down one-nothing, but we were confident with our game. They just managed to score one more than us, really. It was a tight game.’’

(on whether the team is still confident…)

FRASER: “You’ve got to be confident. We’re here for a reason. We knew they weren’t going to go away. Their backs were against the wall. Their backs are still against the wall. We’ve got to win. That’s it. Give that little bit of extra to get there, and score one more than them.’’
