Newark looks pretty much the same as it did a few days ago. Before the flight, the NHL — through the Kings — put out some off-day quotes from players, so I’ll post a series of them, starting with Trevor Lewis, along with a first look at New Jersey on approach…
(on his thoughts on Game 4…)
LEWIS: “I think we definitely had our chances to win the game, but we knew they were going to come out hard. They did a good job at that. We’ve got to refocus and prepare for Game 5.”
(on Martin Brodeur’s game…)
LEWIS: “Yeah, he played really well. He stopped a few breakaways. We hit a couple posts. But he’s a great goalie. We know he’s going to do that.”
(on the Kings remaining confident…)
LEWIS: “Yeah. I mean, we know the fourth game is going to be the hardest. It’s the Stanley Cup Finals here. It’s pretty tough to sweep. We’ve got to make sure we’re prepared and get ready for Game 5.”
