Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on not being able to close out a series in Game 4 again…)
KOPITAR: “We didn’t get the outcome that we wanted tonight. It’s just a matter of correcting some things and getting ready.”
(on the desperation in the Devils’ game…)
KOPITAR: “Oh yeah, they were desperate in all of the games. Everybody is bringing their `A’ game in the Finals, and we’re going to have to do it again.”
(on the game…)
KOPITAR: “We have to bury the chances that we get. They seemed like they had chances off the rush and they capitalized on those. We’ve got to correct some things and get ready again.”
(on the difference in the Kings’ game tonight…)
KOPITAR: “We couldn’t score. We had a couple of chances and we didn’t bear down. We didn’t get a couple of bounces in, and you have to create your own bounces. They played with a little more desperation than we did and we have to correct that in Game 5. … They had a couple pretty good chances off the rush, so we have to make sure the gap is tighter. We didn’t have as much back pressure as we did in Game 4.’’
