Justin Williams’ postgame thoughts…
(on getting scoring from different sources…)
WILLIAMS: “That’s certainly what we’re finding, and that’s certainly what the pedigree of a championship team is. It could have gone either way in both games, and we found a way to win, so it’s huge.’’
(on going up 2-0 in the series…)
WILLIAMS: “We’re obviously very happy with where we’re at. We’re not satisfied as of yet. We came here and we accomplished what we wanted to do here. We won two games. Now we’re going to try to win in front of the hometown fans.’’
(on the game…)
WILLIAMS: “We had to withstand some pretty good pressure, and that’s what they do. They pinch down the wall and keep a lot of plays alive. Quickie was great when he had to be and we kept a lot of shots to the outside. Then we had another hero tonight.’’
(on winning two games on the road again…)
WILLIAMS: “It doesn’t mean much unless we follow it up, just like we have in the last three series. We’ve got to keep our nose down. We’ve got a quick turnaround here. We’ve got a long flight ahead of us, and the more-prepared team is going to win the next game.’’
