Saturday skate updates

Neither team is expected to make any lineup changes for Game 2. New Jersey coach Peter DeBoer did say that defenseman Henrik Tallinder, who has yet to play in the postseason, would fly to Los Angeles with the team and might be an option to play in this series.

How will the ice be tonight? The building was noticeably cooler than it was during Wednesday’s morning skate. Darryl Sutter took note of that, without prompting, and said it was a “big difference.” We’ll see what happens when all the bodies enter the arena and things heat up. More notes and quotes to come…
