Kings TV analyst Jim Fox flew all day today — and boy are his arms…never mind — but Jim will stay up to do a live chat on LAKings.com, starting at 7 p.m. Pacific time. Load up your Kings questions and chat with Jim at the link below…
Also, for those who will be in the downtown L.A. area tomorrow at 5 p.m., the restaurants around L.A. Live will be showing the game and offering a bunch of food and drink specials. There will be free parking in Lot 7 (corner of Figueroa and Chick Hearn Court) for the first 600 vehicles, and at L.A. Live, you can get your picture taken with the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl, which the Kings won in the Western Conference Finals. More information on all the festivities is available by clicking here.

@David R,
Speaking of injuries (or of no injuries) how about Justin Williams? It’s great that he’s stayed healthy this year and now he’s back in the Final. #nojinx!!!

Back in 1988 the Los Angeles Kings owner Bruce Mcnall sold their soul to the devil to get Wayne Gretzky. 24 years later the Kings will now have to exorcise their demons and defeat the New Jersey Devils for the Stanley Cup.

We got a trophy for winning the conference finals? Ok, whatever.

@DesertKing,
LOL. This city is beyond ready for a REAL banner at Staples. To say the words ‘long overdue’ is an insult to long and overdue.

Hey guys. I’m flying in Saturday from Alberta to watch games 3 and 4. I’m staying near Universal Studios. Is there a good place to watch the game on Saturday night? Figure here is the best place to ask. Thanks!!!

@Ryan oliver, Outside. NBC isn’t allowing any team sponsored watch parties, thus AEG can’t open up Staples for a huge get together of Kings fans.

@Ryan oliver,
Inside – Games 3 and 4 are at Staples. At least my tickets say so
If you are talking about Saturdays game, I would recommend the traing center in El Segundo with Paul Armbruster (see below). You would be on the Kings turf with true Kings fans who also happen to be pretty great people.I know they are nice because they didn’t laugh at my horrible skating when we were all on the Staples ice one night.

@Ryan oliver, DOH. Scratch that. Thought you were talking about games 1 and 2. Brainfart.

@Ryan oliver, If you want to experience being around a horde of KINGS fans, than LA Live will probably be the place to be. I live in Laguna Niguel and will be making the trek to LA Live on Sat.

So where’s everyone going? Obviously downtown is going to be a blast. I’m in the South Bay (El Segundo) so I doubt I’ll go to LA Live tomorrow. The Toyota Sports Center, where the Kings practice, is a great venue. Perhaps if there’s interest, a bunch of us ‘westsiders’ can go there. There’s also a watch party in Cerritos. Would be fun to get a group together though.

No true King’s fan would ever get his picture with that thing. In fact if we win the cup I’d think to see those lame conference and division banners gone with the cup banner in their place.
