The Kings have announced the full-season season-ticket holders will have access to a presale for home-game tickets, starting Friday at 10 a.m., and also that American Express cardholders will have a presale on Thursday. I don’t have any further information, so for those to whom that applies, contact representatives about questions. The Kings said that fans interested in securing Finals tickets can place a deposit on 2012-13 season tickets at www.lakings.com/playoffs. Finally, the team said that “further information regarding a potential general public sale for Stanley Cup Final tickets will be forthcoming.’’

@FKA PakiFro, Upstairs was $165 for the 3rd round. I guess for the finals it would probably be in the 200′s or 300′s. My season ticket price for the finals for my 2 seats is $59 each.

Is the Ticket Exchange on the Kings site or a different site?

    Thanks.

    [Reply]

    FemaleFan #1 Reply:

@Karen, It’s its own site. It’s a site were u buy the tix directly from season ticket holders. It’s thru ticketmaster but only has $1.95 fee per ticket. Just Google “LA Kings ticket exchange” and its like the 5th or 6th option down. (Don’t go to the ticketmaster site) They always have the best prices by far. Especially as the game gets closer, the prices plummet. It’s also awesome that the fees are so low! Good luck!

It’s a way of making AMEX cardholders feel special by giving them “special access” to expensive seats with poor sightlines.

    [Reply]

    LA_1968 Reply:

@Vivian, I believe the Amex preferred and or presale seats are more expensive than adjacent “regular” seats. So you they’re just squeezing a buck out of it while give you the “privilege”. Free market so whatever works.

I will begin today by posting a comment or two here, checking some links provided by @Rich, @waves, and all the diligent linkers in on the blog, glueing myself to NHLN & NBCS for the rest of the afternoon & evening, and finally realizing at, oh around 2 am, I have had absolutely NOTHING to eat or to drink all bloody day!
Par for staying the course, for this feckless fella’.
It has been a withering 2012 Playofff run for many of us thus far, and will be sure to become harder with much sacrifice and adversity to be encountered.
We can only hope that Ringers and Debils fans are going through the same excrutiating circumstances as us, and will maybe even pummel each other senseless over a brutal seven game series.
Only when Brownie lifts the mug of silver on our behalves will re be able to rest and let go our intensity.
Until then, we Kings are focused, determined, and resolute!!!

As a 10-pack holder, I recevied my tickets for the Finals at $154 per seat. I was thinking of selling one of the games since they willprobably be worth about $1-2k each. Some fast observations:

    1. The after-game celebration was perfect. You could tell that the team was happy and relieved to finish off the Cryotes. You also tell that they were not very excited, that they were still focused, that it wasn’t really time tocelebrate because they still have something else to do, that it is not over. That is the sign of a great team.

    2. watching the NBC call of the game winner by Penner was horrible. The announcers sounded shocked, in fact they didn’t really say anything for the first few seconds. Talk about dull and unimaginative and failing to capture the excitement of the moment.

    3. The opposite for Nick and Darryl. I had the opportunity to hear their call this afternoon. Professional, timely, with just the right amount of excitement tinged with a slight tremor of emotion that gave me goosebumps and brought a tear to my eye. My hat is off to them for making a special moment even more special.

@ctc, I’m going to try and get in on G2 and G5. Hoping for NJ, where I think it will be a little easier to score tickets. The Devils and Rangers both have ways to sign up for ticket alerts, but those tend to be late releases of unused seats (players, NHL, etc), availability probably limited for SCF though, so if anything comes through they won’t last. I suggest familiarizing yourself with both teams ticket outlets now through their nhl.com sites. Season ticket holders probably have been issued undated finals tickets, so you may be able to find something now through stubhub, etc.

So why does the first two home games (3 and 4) have to be broadcast on NBCSN and not NBC itself huh??? Kinda Bull I say…all I really want tho is for Bob to call this series

Long time Kings fan now living up here in Alaska. I’m planning to fly down to SoCal from June 9th-16th. Only dates I can take off from work. Hopefully, my timing will be perfect…

@Bacstar, Your timing will be fine, your ability to get tickets depends on the depth of your wallet. I’m flying in from CO and am in the same boat you are.
