Stoll postgame quotes (May 22)

Jarret Stoll’s postgame thoughts…

(on Dustin Penner scoring the game-winning goal…)
STOLL: “It’s been a struggle for some of us in here to score goals and to be on the offensive side of things. That’s a big goal for him. Just to see a smile on his face and see how happy he is and how happy we all are, it’s a great moment for him, our team, our organization, our fans. One more round to go.’’

(on comparing this to his trip to the Finals with Edmonton…)
STOLL: “They’re both great. Obviously you want to win. You want to get there and you want to win. You don’t want to lose. It’s been a long journey, and hopefully we can play well and have a good time.’’

(on the fourth win being the hardest…)
STOLL: “We didn’t have our game again at the start. It was a pretty open game. There were a lot of line rushes and a lot of odd-man rushes that we didn’t want to give up. Our defense were great and Quickie was great. We had some huge kills there and a timely goal.’’
