Brown postgame quotes (May 20)

Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…

(on the game…)
BROWN: “I think tonight was more about the Phoenix Coyotes playing a good game. They sat back and they are opportunistic and that’s how they’ve done it all year. They’ve been a resilient group all year and they showed that tonight. They executed really well and that’s the bottom line.”

(on the Phoenix goals…)
BROWN: “That was very much the way they won games all year. They hang around and find a way to score some goals. They got a goal off a faceoff and a power-play goal, and that was the difference.’’

(on not being able to close out the series…)
BROWN: “We dropped this one, and we’ll just get ready to go. We’ve got another chance to close it out on Tuesday.’’

(on trying to win Game 5 on the road…)
BROWN: “This time of year, I don’t know if it makes a difference whether you’re on the road or you’re at home. We’ve been successful on the road in these playoffs. We need to have a good game on Tuesday if we want to finish this series.’’

(on losing the faceoff battle and special-teams battle…)
BROWN: “I think they have won the faceoff battle all series long. Tonight, it cost us a goal, a quick bang-bang play. Our power play has been struggling. I thought we had some good opportunities tonight, but we didn’t have any goals, and at the end of the day that cost us the game.’’
