Jarret Stoll’s postgame thoughts…
(on Anze Kopitar tying the game quickly after Phoenix scored…)
STOLL: “That was a great, great sight to see there, Kopi going in on that breakaway. We don’t want to be trailing for long stretches, by any means, or trailing at all, but just resilient. Our club, we just never get down. We just keep pushing and pushing and keep the foot on the gas. Kopi did a good job of burying that one and putting us even. Then it took us a little bit to get us going.’’
(on embracing his role…)
STOLL: “Everybody has got to play well to win. It doesn’t matter where you are in the lineup, if you’re one through four or you’re playing 18 or 19 minutes a night or playing five. It doesn’t matter as long as you’re contributing, playing your role, the things that you do well for the team. Right now, we’ve got everybody on that same page. We’re not done yet. A lot of work ahead of us to get that fourth one.’’
STOLL: “It feels good, but we’re not satisfied yet. It’s been going well, but we have to keep pushing, because we’ve seen tonight. When we sit back a little bit, teams come, and they’re a great team over there, so we’ve got to be ready and make sure we put together a great start, first of all, in the next game, and a good 60 (minutes).’’
