QUICK: “It’s the same feelings as after the first game. You don’t get anything for three wins. We’re going to go back to work tomorrow and get ready for Game 4.”
(on already forgetting about Game 3…)
QUICK: “Yeah, for the most part. Obviously you’ve got to enjoy the victory for a few minutes here. That’s why you work so hard, so you can enjoy it a little bit. We know what we have ahead of us. We know (Phoenix) is going to come out hard in Game 4 and we’re going to be ready.”
(on looking ahead to Game 4…)
QUICK: “I feel the same as the Vancouver series. We just won a game. That’s all it is. We’re going to move forward and we’re going to get ready for Game 4.”

Next time anyone is at Staples like we were tonight take a moment and watch Quick during the pre-game skate right before they leave the ice. He goes off to one side and kneels and gets into the zone then mimics some moves then skates off by himself.

I bet when his child was born he smiled momentarily and then commented on how that was great, but we have to focus on selecting pre-school and saving for college.

@Demob, no injury, I saw a tackle by Doughty then roughing (errrrrrr holding) a bit after that by both of them. Look like Doughty should have got an extra 2 minutes by what NBC showed.

Just got home from the bar and still feeling both emotionally and chemically euphoric. Stout in San Diego was going off! Wall to wall Kings fans going nuts and we will be there in force on Sunday. I haven’t been able to follow the blog but I’m watching Tippet’s comments right now and I can’t believe the crap he is spouting. This was a soul crushing game for the dogs. They did exactly what they wanted to do and still fell short. Bitches are done (okay to say that? more of a female dog reference than cussing). If you are in San Diego, please come out to Stout on Sunday, I’m figuring on 25 plus Kings fans in a small Irish pub screaming for the cup.
One more win.

@370455VinSD, C’mon man I refuse to go to a Redwings/Canucks/Sharks dominated bar in San Diego to watch Kings games. However I know a large group always attends at Rosie ‘O Grady’s on 34th and Adams and/or Triple Crown Pub also in Normal Heights (the bartender there is 20+ year Kings Fan) come out let us show you how true San Diego Kings fans do it in a real hockey bar lol.

@urborg1701, I am completely stoked to have a place to go. I’m willing to try another bar but Stout has been packing in the Kings fans as the playoffs have proceeded. Now that we are in the finals I doubt I will go to the bar anymore anyway since the start times are all 5:00 and I don’t get off work until 4:30 and work in Oceanside. I think I will just DVR them and watch when I get home. I like the sound of the Triple Crown Pub, I wish I still had my Dave Taylor jersey.
