Morning in Glendale

It’s actually cooler this morning in Glendale. At last check, 82 degrees. At 8:45 a.m. Gulp. It’s also the last day in Arizona on this trip, meaning a third and final trip to the same sandwich shop across the way. The teams are split this morning. The Phoenix Coyotes are at their practice facility, while the Kings will be at Jobing.com Arena but are expected to have only the scratched players on the ice this morning. Here’s the morning view from Glendale (from the window by the elevator), as presented by Sanderson Ford, AMC Theatres and DeVry University.

  3. DeVry University? I’d think the University of Phoenix would have cornered the market ;)

So I read the crews over at jobing are having a tough time of it with all the heat. Any chance the game will get called due to fog tonight?

I tested that theory on my cat — it worked — left a treat on a bookcase once a day for a week and then started doing it sporatically — that cat still check the case every day — of course I feel badly so now I HAVE to leave a treat up there every now and then….

Thanks for the ‘morning in’ Rich. Can’t help thinking what a cultural wasteland Phoenix is.

Obviously tonight’s game will be pivotal, and Phoenix will do whatever it takes to shut down Kopi. This could be a big opportunity for Richards/Carter/Penner to step up and make an impact. Would really like to see them get untracked because as good as the team effort was on Sunday, this line can be the difference maker for the rest of the series.
