Coyotes practice update

The Phoenix Coyotes had a practice today at Jobing.com Arena. Injured defenseman Adrian Aucoin practiced with the full team today, and afterward, coach Dave Tippett said Aucoin’s status for Game 2 would be evaluated tomorrow morning.

In general, Tippett stayed with the theme of his postgame comments from last night, and he stressed better execution. Tippett said, “We recognize that L.A. played a strong game last night, but we think we can be much better than we were.”

The Kings are scheduled to practice at 2 p.m. at the arena.
