Bob and Jim are as much supporters of their Kings as any announcers could be for their own team. But the one thing they do as professionals, is tell like it is. Bob could be (if given the opportunity) the best national hockey play-by-play man and nobody would be able to say he was a homer.

Bob Miller, just like Vin Scully, would call the game (not the team) as the primary focus which a lot, and i mean a lot, of others could take a lesson from.

We in L.A. are truly blessed to have two of the best play-by-play announcers currently working. And that’s not even including Chick Hearn, who also called the game, not the team.

@Jack Aubrey, I genuinely like Dave Strader, the power play guy. Emrick is decent as well. No Bob Miller, but decent.

My own worldwide HQ switches between Tex’s trailer and my own, depending on whichever one of us is experiencing the least drainage problems at the time.
Soggy carpets are no fun to wake up on after yet another night of revery on the PBR.

@yetiman_oc, when nolan got called up this season the first thought in my head was that he looked exactly like crosby, especially with a helmet on and has the same skating style.
