Yes, very true. I failed to point out that they’re making more overall for sure, just not from this subset of fans, which was my main point. Thank you for clarifying it though!

“Last year, we (Insider Kings fans) sold out FIVE suites in less than 12 hours at a cost of $75 a head for a gross total of $9375 for AEG…[This year] IF they sell out those 2 suites, AEG grosses only $8750. That’s $625 less than last year.”

That’s basically them making the same for 2 suites as they did last year for 5… they are presumably selling the other 3 suites (75 tix * $175 = $13,175) to others, so really the fair comparison is that they’re selling the same 5 suites for $21K that last year they sold for $9K. Nice move for their bottomline.

I hope to join you guys in the suite if there’s a Game 6 (out of town fan, LA is my hometown and I have never lost sight of my Kings!)

I do not set ticket prices. Frank does not set ticket prices. If you want to know about ticket prices, talk to people who set ticket prices. If you’d like a phone number, contact me and I’ll try to help you. This is an offer to buy tickets for a playoff game. If you don’t want to buy the tickets, don’t buy them. If you’d like me to post something that says, “The Kings charge a lot more for playoff tickets,” I’ll be happy to do so. I sincerely did not anticipate that anyone would be uncertain about that.
