Who’s goalie is playing better. From the highlights it looks like Rinne makes some unbelievable saves but you can’t judge a goalie based on his acrobatic saves. Quick has the ability to make them but he’s so solid he hasn’t had to as of recent.

As far as I’m concerned, we wanna play whatever team has the worse goalie. A goalie can single handedly win a series, and since ours is probably the best, it would be great to have a major advantage in that category.

We could use Tippett right about now. That was the last coach under which we had a great PP. I always thought we shoulda dumped Andy Murray instead of letting him go… Oh well.

Agree. Whatever happened to Doughty’s shot at the point. I grew accustomed to expecting his canon at the point as a constant weapon for us on the PP. Considering how great these goalies are, and how little we’ve been scoring, I’m surprised to see that Doughty hasn’t been letting loose at the point. These are the kind of shots that get passed even the best goalies. Maybe Doughty is less comfortable/getting less feeds with JMFJ gone.
