If you watch the replay highlights, you can see brown trips Oshie straight off the faceoff. No doubt about the fact that if the ref saw that it would have been a tripping penalty. I m telling you its obvious on the reply. But it is what lead to our shorthanded so for that I m glad. But on the other hand it was a pretty obvious tripping, and unecssary, if brown gets called on that they would have had 2 full minutes of 5 on 3. Which could have been deadly. All I m saying is brown needs to not make those kind of mistakes in the next game. Because it was a mistake even if it wasn’t caught and even if it did lead to a goal. Did anyone else see it? or watch it now that I pointed it out?

I’ll have to watch again, but it seemed that petroanglo had taken a stride towards the boards tranferring his weight forward just a moment before Kinger put a shoulder into his high shoulder area… if anything Kinger gets one game because he’s a no-name, otherwise he wouldlve gotten a shea weber special…

It’s a little unnerving reading Blues with some of their fans calling for Ryan Reaves to be inserted into their lineup for Game 2 and for Quick, Kopitar, and Doughty to be run. Hopefully the refs in Game 2 will be on the lookout for that kind of nonsense.
