Thursday (non-)practice update

All of the healthy Kings stayed off the ice today, as the team opted for a workout instead. Kyle Clifford skated with Scott Parse and took shots on fill-in goalie Denver Wilson, the team’s assistant equipment manager.

Darryl Sutter said the Kings were following “protocol” with Clifford in the same way Vancouver handled Daniel Sedin’s concussion. It’s not known if Clifford might be able to play in Game 5.

It’s also not known when Sunday’s Game 5 might start, a source of some consternation for Sutter, who would like to set a practice and travel schedule as soon as possible. More notes and quotes to come, including a lot of talk about how the Kings can better handle the Sedins…
