This is Game 4 in the best-of-seven, first-round playoff series between the Kings and the Vancouver Canucks. The Kings hold a 3-0 series lead. Daniel Sedin, a 30-goal scorer in the regular season, is expected to return to the Canucks’ lineup tonight and play for the first time since March 21. That’s when Sedin suffered a concussion that cost him the final nine games of the regular season and the first three games of this season. Sedin figures to give Vancouver’s power play a boost at a critical time, given that the Canucks are 0-for-14 on the power play in this season. Sedin scored 10 power-play goals during the regular season. At even strength, the Canucks will have a new-look first line, with Daniel and Henrik Sedin alongside David Booth. The Canucks are also staying with Cory Schneider in goal, after Schneider’s 19-save effort in a 1-0 loss in Game 3. Byron Bitz is eligible to play again, after his two-game suspension for his hit on Kyle Clifford, but is expected to be a healthy scratch, and the Canucks aren’t expected to make any change on defense. For the latest on the Canucks, check out the coverage from the Vancouver Province and the Vancouver Sun, followed by the possible lineups for the Canucks and the Kings…

@KingRey, I was there in ’93 and I “stick” by my assertion. Bottom line, ’93 was a great ride but a failure.
No cup.
In ’93 we didn’t sweep any series.
The ’93 team was Hockeywood to be sure.Replete with free agents and superstars that Bruce was able to buy. In ’93, we had just a few players that were actually brought up in the Kings organization. When the McNall bubble burst, the Kings suffered for over a decade before getting back to where we are today.
With McNall, it was not about the future.
And the future is very bright.

@Munchrat,
Game 7 Conference Finals vs the Leafs! Hands down the biggest game in Franchise history. This game will not match that one. Its only significant if we win because we as an 8th seed swept a No. 1 seed.
Stuart Reply:

@Blarney, yeah, that was the biggest victory for sure! what a series… for me, that’s when men were men and they clutched and grabbed like it was something to do, left and right, mucking it up and they fought through and through some more… anyway… yeah big game!
I’ll be heading out to Staples in a few hoping for a kings sweep. Go Kings Go!!!
