@slantslant28, I was screaming at Richards (through my TV) to attack on that play… shows how much I know =). Richards played that perfectly by showing patience. Pulling back to the blue line created space and gave Penner time to lumber into the zone. In my mind, the pass to Carter was perfect =).

early in the game, real early, MR was down below our own goal line fishing out a puck, and I think it was flopierre IIRC who ran MR, HARD, kind of high too, because MR’s head snapped back and he had to readjust his helmet… Right then and there I knew they were hunting for an injury… I really like that MR came right back at them. Blowing up Burro not, once, but TWICE!!!

Love his game. He’s still not 100% but he’s damned good!

Seems like the Kings finally caught some breaks going their way. After the goal on what should have been goalie interference I thought things would go bad but Richards’ statement demonstrates that working hard can and usually will lead to a victory.
