Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…
(on resetting after the regular season…)
BROWN: “I think we’ve been in the playoffs a couple times now, and we understand a little better what it’s about, and the mindset you need to have. We’re playing a team that has dominated this league for the last two years, and we can’t have any letdowns. I think we did a pretty good job of limiting our mistakes. That’s going to be key for us, if we want to be successful against these guys. If we give them opportunities, they’re going to capitalize.’’
(on the game…)
BROWN: “For us, we’ve got big, fast forwards and we’re trying to get the most out of our speed. They’ve got some bigger defensemen, so we try to get in and be physical and make it hard on their guys. I think we did a pretty good job overall on their top guys, just being hard on them. That goes a long way.’’
