If he didn’t collapse in pain at the first push-off he should be okay by playoff time…..

Hopefully he isn’t rushed back to action. There’s a horrible track record with rushed recoveries from injury.

I’m guessing 1st game of the playoffs he’s ready. Great news!

Just a thought today. The NHL season started with Kings/Rangers in
Europe. Lets end it with a Kings victory against the Rangers anywhere.
Let’s clinch tonight to get started.
[Reply]
Saw him at the Lakers/Clippers game last night. I was hoping he was going back to work soon!
[Reply]
Good news, Rich! If he’s got the skates on that must mean the swelling isn’t too bad… I bet he’s back Saturday if we need him or else game 1 of the series against Chicago ; )

He returns in game two of round one to net the GWG! !

Get healthy JC !! Much more positive news than Kopi’s injury going in to playoffs last season.
Let’s keep getting B. Richie battling out there, could be huge come playoff time.
Yotes are gonna drop at least one of their 2 roadies @ Blues, Wild so it’s just ALL about tonight !

If the Sharks win one in regulation and the Kings win one in a shoot-out, both teams would have 95 pts and 34 ROW. What would be the next tie breaker?

@bbb7, which would be tied if NOT IMPRESSED’s scenario happens…so goal differential.
Niko Reply:
April 5th, 2012 at 3:26 pm
@NOT IMPRESSED,
And since they are only separated by 1 goal currently, there is no way to tie in GD. SJ would have to win by 2 goals in that scenario to take that lead.
[Reply]
kings have a strange tendency to do REALLY well when coming back to playing after not playing for a while (injury, or just being scratched). Richardson has 2 goals after not playing for like 15 games, drewiski did really well when they brought him in mid season, kopitar dominated early season when coming back after last season, doughty did pretty well after coming back from injury this year. Williams did really well in the playoffs last year after missing the end of the season and part of the playoffs. Only person maybe who hasn’t done well was Richards.

GOD save the Kings…

@SLIM,
… then he needs to impel the second coming – so he has back-up!
Confidence is high for the Kings the Sharks have doubts. San Jose will be playing with tight sticks and Quick will make them wonder how they’ll get it past him. I think Quick is the most motivated player on the team right now with the Ves. in sight and the team is jazzed cause they won’t to help him get it San Jose thanks for showing up but it’s our time now you’ve had your chances. Now we’ll show you how its done.

Niko Reply:
April 5th, 2012 at 3:24 pm
@trwnclick,
Agreed, and we all know how well Quick can play when motivated. He can taste the Vezina, and although he won’t admit it, he is playing for that hardware as well as the Division.
[Reply]
Hopefully Dallas loses in regulation before the Kings hit the ice. Maybe a little bit of pressure taken off the Kings shoulders will prompt them to play outta their minds!

@BigFatKingsFan,
Score could produce some SERIOUS energy for the crowd by or before puck drop.

I think that first goal is huge….I want a 1-0 start for us….no uphill battles please…
[Reply]
Bettman is so full of it WRT the clock. Lombardi figured it out, Bettman still thinks it was the operator? Now they are reviewing the final minute in every game so when it happens again they will fire another operator. Doesn’t even address what actually happened. What a joke.
[Reply]
We need to warned the Sharks because sometimes the sharks might hurt badly for the kings and today it was Adam m’s birthday so maybe if the LA Kings will win for my special birthday for sure Go Kings Go
