Sutter on Carter: `Every day is better’

We’re now well into the late-season mode in which injury updates will be about as forthcoming as secrets from the CIA. Teams aren’t required to disclose specific injuries, or the progress of injured players, so they don’t. So any updates on Jeff Carter, from here on out, will almost certainly be vague. Carter didn’t practice today, and Darryl Sutter did indicate that Carter won’t play again until he at least gets a full-team practice. Whether that is tomorrow, a week from now or beyond, that is anyone’s guess. Here’s the complete update from Sutter on Carter…

SUTTER: “He’s working out. Every day is better. … He hasn’t skated yet, no. But he’s walking good. Every day is better.’’
