RICHARDS: “Tonight was just luck. It bounced over his stick. Johnny (Stevens) is good about just encouraging us to put pressure on them. Tonight, and the last couple ones I think, have just been fortunate bounces, where it goes off the stick and goes the other way.’’

RICHARDS: “It was a big game for us, after the schedule we’ve had. We didn’t want to come in here and take them lightly. You put the onus on the older guys to play well and take a step forward, and I thought our leaders led tonight, starting with Brownie and Greener and right through, with Kopi and everyone else.’’
