Two summers ago, Willie Mitchell was something of a risky signing for the Kings, given that he was coming off a concussion that had cost him half a season. The Kings signed Mitchell to a two-year contract, one that has worked out well for both sides, and last month Mitchell gave up his ability to become a free agent when he signed a two-year extension.
