SUTTER: “Just keeping pace, that’s it. It’s too bad we can’t gain any ground. As I’ve said, you just take care of business as much as you can.’’

SUTTER: “It’s important. We played last night, and it’s mentally hard on these guys. They’re trying to get through it and it’s hard. We’re playing a hard game and you need everybody. We got big goals from our left wingers tonight, flat-out. Penner, King and Clifford got big goals.”

SUTTER: “It’s a game of not very many mistakes. They don’t make many. It’s 1-1 going into the third, so there’s no much going either way. Both teams were playing hard.’’

SUTTER: “I never really thought about it. If that had been the case, then we would have played him two weeks ago, or whenever we were in (Nashville) last. Quicker won there, so there’s really not much there. It’s a time where you give Quick three, almost four days (off) between games.’’

SUTTER: “I don’t look at it as a streak. There’s not much difference in our game at any point. You get a little break once in a while, and hopefully you get some guys score some big goals for you.’’
