Shuffled up and dealt

The Kings will be back at practice today at 10 a.m. in El Segundo.

Congrats to Kings fan Greg Smyser, who beat out 999 players and won the Kings-Ducks charity poker tournament last night at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Gaming. It was a great night, and for those who I got to chat with, it was great to meet all of you (or to say hello again, in some instances). For the record, I won my table and reached the final 100, as did Jim Fox, former Kings goalie Gary Edwards, Patrick O’Neal and…Bailey (sorry if I forgot anyone). Here’s the kicker: one of our loyal blog readers had the honor of knocking Ducks broadcaster Brian Hayward — who, rivalry aside, is a great guy — out of the tournament. I told the gentleman to post a comment, taking credit, but I haven’t seen it yet…
