This is the third of four meetings this season between the Kings and the Minnesota Wild. The teams split two games in Los Angeles, with the Kings winning 5-2 on Nov. 12 and the Wild winning 4-2 on Dec. 8. Jonathan Quick started both of those games for the Kings, but Jonathan Bernier gets the call tonight. Minnesota was busy before yesterday’s trade deadline, as the Wild brought in Erik Christensen, Kurtis Foster, Tom Gilbert, Steven Kampfer, Nick Palmieri and Stephane Veilleux, and sent out Nick Schultz, Brad Staubitz, Casey Wellman, Greg Zanon and Marek Zidlicky. The Wild are still in the Western Conference playoff hunt but are in 12th place, five points behind eighth-place Dallas and three points behind the 10th-place Kings. The Wild, after an 0-5-2 skid, are now 3-1-0 in their last four and are coming off a nice 4-3 victory over San Jose on Sunday. The Wild have scored at least one power-play goal in four consecutive games. For the latest on the Wild, check out the coverage from the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Pioneer Press, followed by the possible lineups for the Kings and Wild…
