Scouting the Blackhawks

This is the third of four meetings this season between the Kings and the Chicago Blackhawks, and follows the Blackhawks’ 2-1 win in Los Angeles on Nov. 26 and the Kings’ 2-0 win in Chicago on Dec. 28. Will special teams be a factor tonight? In the previous two games, neither team scored a power-play goal. The Blackhawks have not scored a power-play goal in 12 games, but also have allowed only one power-play goal in their last seven games. The Blackhawks have been wildly up and down of late. In late January, they started a stretch in which they went 0-8-1. They followed that with a four-game winning streak, which ended Thursday with a loss to Dallas. The Blackhawks will be without injured forward Jonathan Toews as well as defensemen Niklas Hjalmarsson and Steve Montador. For the latest on the Blackhawks, check out the coverage from the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times, followed by the possible linesups for both teams…

Ducan linemate is a rookie only has played 10 games. Lets take advantage of that. Also Leddy is a minus 12 worse on the team paired with Seabrook tonight.

I’m gonna laugh if we Carter scores, and we lose 1 nothing. That being said, I’m fully expecting a 2-1 Kings win. Go Quick! Go Berneier! Go whoevers in goal.

That’s pretty much the lineup I would have picked, except I would swap Brown and Penner.

Kopitar + Brown? Occasional exceptional games aside, has it not been established that these two just don’t mix very well on the ice? (serious question)

I think that Bollard should be Suspended for hurting Anze’s shoulder should make that call was a Penalty or a Suspended call is give Bollard a 3 game of Suspended for hurting Anze’s shoulder and you know the hockey rules about not hurting the Best Player on the Kings and the answer is Anze
