Morning in Arizona

This post gets the title “Morning in Arizona,” rather than “Morning in Glendale,” lest anyone think think I stayed back home and decided to go to Porto’s Bakery instead. (Not a bad idea, actually.) The picture on the left includes the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the NFL’s Cardinals, and the camera is also pointed in the general direction of Camelback Ranch, where, right now, a lot of minor-league pitchers and catchers for the Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox are having a throw. I covered spring training once. Once. To the right, a view down, for what would be about a 12-to-15 meter dive. No springboard available. The Kings are scheduled for a morning skate at 11:30 a.m. Mountain time.
