Kings reportedly on Nash’s `list’

We’re now 11 days away from what I think of as a second Christmas, the passing of the NHL’s trade deadline. The Columbus Blue Jackets tossed a firecracker into the crowd this week when they started fielding offers for star winger Rick Nash, who has a no-trade clause. Reportedly, Nash has a list of teams to which he would accept a trade, and the Kings are on the list. Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch has a real nice breakdown of the situation, which you can read by clicking below.

Blue Jackets: What’s the price for Nash?

For the Kings, as the story indicates, it’s pretty simple. If the Blue Jackets’ top priority is a goalie, the Kings will be in the game. If it’s not, they won’t. Craig Custance of ESPN.com has been doing breakdowns of each team in advance of the deadline, and today he looked at the Kings.
