Jordan Nolan’s postgame thoughts…
(on taking the pass from Mike Richards on his first NHL goal…)
NOLAN: “Playing with him, it’s a pretty special feeling. He’s such a talented player and so well-known in this league. So, to come in and be able to play two games with him in this league, we have to bury those chances when he’s setting us up.’’
(on his first two NHL games…)
NOLAN: “We [Nolan and Dwight King] were a little nervous, coming in for our first game. I know I was. After that first period, you kind of get into it. You feel the rush of the game. We’re just trying to work hard to stay up here.’’
(on being accustomed to playing games on back-to-back nights, after playing in the AHL…)
NOLAN: “No, it’s not too bad, but the pace of the game is a little higher up here. The guys are stronger. We were just trying to play our best hockey and keep the coaching staff happy and stay in the lineup.’’
