Darryl Sutter’s only update on Anze Kopitar was that Kopitar “will probably be fine. He’s got a bloody nose.” Kopitar took a huge hit, in the upper chest/shoulder area, from Dallas’ Brenden Morrow with less than eight minutes remaining in the third period and did not return. Kopitar was not available for comment. General manager Dean Lombardi said Kopitar would be evaluated again tomorrow morning. None of the Kings took issue with the legality of Morrow’s hit on Kopitar.
