This is the fourth of six meetings this season between the Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes. The Kings hold a 2-0-1 advantage so far. In the last game, the Kings scored four goals on Jason LaBarbera, but the Coyotes are expected to have the services of Mike Smith, who has returned from injury. Smith held the Kings to two goals in each of the teams’ first two games this season and is expected to start tonight. The Coyotes will not have Raffi Torres, who will serve the second of a two-game suspension for his hit on Minnesota’s Nate Prosser.
