Friday practice update

There was plenty of work today in an hour-long practice that ended with the power-play work. Darryl Sutter didn’t attribute anything particular to his hands-on approach and said the power play is a work in progress for all the coaches. Incidentally, Sutter said quite clearly today that he wouldn’t be adding to or changing the coaching staff, not that there was any indication he would.

Sutter had no update on Simon Gagne, other than to say that Gagne was “progressing” and getting off-ice therapy. More notes and quotes to come…
