Morning in Chicago

First, a bit of sad news, for those who missed it yesterday. Former Kings coach Johnny Wilson died at age 82. Wilson, the uncle of Toronto Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson, took over behind the Kings bench during the 1969-70 season and went 9-34-9 before he was fired at the end of the season by general manager Larry Regan.

Here’s the morning view from Chicago, the City of Big Shoulders and Dirty Windows. Chicago is my favorite road city, and I thoroughly intend to enjoy it with some great breakfast this morning. The Kings are scheduled to be on the ice for their morning skate at 11:30 a.m. local time.
