Rob Scuderi’s postgame thoughts…
(on the strong first period…)
SCUDERI: “You always want to come out and play your best hockey by the time you get to that first TV timeout, and just establish and attitude and a tone to the game, and try to stay with it. I thought we had a very good first period. Second period wasn’t very good. We picked up toward the net, but we gave up a lot of momentum back to Phoenix. But we finished it up.’’
(on scoring from the right side against LaBarbera…)
SCUDERI: “I think it was just a fluke. I’m sure, watching some of the goals, he’d like to have a couple of those back. He’s been a goalie in this league for a long time. Those aren’t ones that usually go in. He made some big saves for them. Maybe he shouldn’t have come up with some of them that he (did). But I think it was more of a fluke than anything, that they all happened to go in from that side.’’
Off topic.
Sutter looks younger to me.
It’s like he gone all Hollywood on us

Flukes should be expected more. Kings have faced more back ups this season than I care to count, and made many of them look like Stanley Cup champions. When you have a chance to take advantage, you still have to do the most important part.
Take advantage.

He doesn’t know Labarbra like we know him

During the game, I kept saying to my wife, all we needed to get out of our scoring slump is LaBarbara.

Scuderi should be one of the star of the game tonight!

Kings are undefeated all time when both Scuds and Willie score… Maybe Scuds really is THE PIECE
