Bob, Jim and the pea in the whistle

There’s been a lot of serious news and discussion today, so here’s a little levity. For those who attended last night’s game and didn’t get to see the Fox Sports West telecast, Bob Miller and Jim Fox had one of those crack-up moments that happen on the air from time to time…

What isn’t seen is that, for the next two minutes, there were long periods of silence as Bob and Jim laughed, off-microphone. All broadcasters have a “cough button” that they can use to temporarily kill their microphones, or they can shut them off altogether. Jim, who was already pushing through an illness, and Bob finally got their breath back and soldiered on…
