Can Westgarth make it a streak?

As noted earlier, the Kings will stay with the same lineup tonight, meaning Terry Murray will give Kevin Westgarth will get a chance to extend his goal-scoring streak to two games. On Wednesday in Dallas, Westgarth scored his first NHL goal in his 73rd game, and the second-period goal would have held up as the game-winner, except the Stars scored a late game-tying goal and won in overtime. Westgarth will stay with the same fourth-line look tonight, alongside left winger Ethan Moreau and center Colin Fraser.

MURRAY: “I wish we had been able to get him the winning goal the other night. It was a great play. It’s a catch-and-release shot, and he has that in him. He can shoot the puck, that’s for sure. So hopefully we can push him to the next level here.’’
