Jim Fox, the real “insider” today, headed to El Segundo and reports that the only players on the ice were the injured Alec Martinez and Dustin Penner. Rest day for everyone else. Practice is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
Hope everyone is enjoying a great Thanksgiving Day! Kings Vision put this together, with the Kings talked about what they’re grateful for today…

u know. for as bad as the kings have played, they are only 3 points from first place OVERALL on the NHL. so give the guy some break and be thankful that we have the players in place to go far. we just need to have them get used to each other and have the bottom 2 lines and the 2nd line left wing set.
think positive and be thankful guys =)

I am so happy Rich that you decided to start this blog. I dont know if you ever dreamed in the beginning that it would help people connect the way it has, but I have been able to use it as a way to branch out and meet others who love the Kings the way I do.
My only regret is that the internet didnt exist in the 70′s or 80′s because if it did, my life probably would have been different and even better earlier on. It has also given me a chance to introduce one blogger to another at Hammond functions, watch parties, and just regular Kings games home and away.
Anyway, hope all of you had a great thanxgiving, and that includes @poorman, @Kinger, @MBrett7, @HBKingsfan, and @Jim Martin as well. Hope we see alot of you at the Gretzky statue at 6 PM on Saturday, and have a great holiday weekend.

Yes I must chime in on the Puck73{Mike} rap. Dude you should get a job with the PR team. You have been a great friend to get to know. Thanks for spotting me out in the crowd during training camp. Of course I wasn’t to hard to find, just for the simple fact that I’m a 6’4 man at about 350lbs. Puck welcomed me into the fold and a met many other Insiders that day. Shots on goal is another cat that I learn from. His hockey IQ is off the charts, Kopi Bryant is a cat who like myself is still learning the game on a daily basis. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Lately jess has been posting some pretty good reading material. And when ever I need the spiritual side of hockey I just need to read a few post from Oaksa. We are family around here and there are many times we just don’t get along. I’m sure there are folks that just bye pass my posts, but that’s OK. I’m still trying to become Poorman’s friend, but I guess I’m not cool enough for him. Ever since joining this blog site my experience as a Kings fan has been 10 fold better. It used to be just me, watching my games here in Salt Lake. Sometimes my wife would be the only one I could talk to about hockey and she hates it. There is not many King fans here in Utah. Now it’s great I’ve got all kinds of friends. My hope is that maybe some of our words are being heard by the people in upper management. Some of them could learn a thing or two from us. My door and flat screen is always open to any and all King fans who might be visiting Utah for the holiday’s. I’ll also be going to the Ducks game on the 22 with my nephew from New Zealand. I’m looking forward to meeting more of you as the year goes on. And One last thing… If you are new to this blog site and read only, PLEASE Post your words. We don’t care about grammar, spelling, or just plain bad English. Mine sucks badly, but folks still love me just the same. Thanks to all and allow gratitude fill your heart and mind all year long. Let us be grateful when our team has it’s highs and lows. We have a club that is STILL growing. NO WE HAVE NOT GELLED YET, nor have we peaked. We must keep everything in perspective. This is Hockey the best team sport on the planet. Now if only our 3-4 lines could get scoring all would be well. OK I’m done typing sorry for boring most of you. Maybe I should just read now!

We will definitely be meeting at the Gretzky at 6 tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the Kings bounce back from what I will always refer to as the “Zus Revenge.” Poor Puck getting all that love, I just don’t understand it. What has he done? I mean really!! I mean, yeah, he does help some Insiders make it into the Insiders suite and fly them across the country, but c’mon, what else has he done. Oh, well, yeah, he has organized some pretty good Kings fans parties. So what that he has helped bring the Insiders together on a regular basis. I really think his accomplishments are overblown… aaahh, who am I kidding!! Puck and the Insiders make this world a better place by enhancing the experience of being a Kings fan, so I am thankful for that! Now, don’t get me started on that Rich Hammnond guy, I mean, none of this would exist without him but….blah blah blah blah blah….
