Doughty postgame quotes (Nov. 8)

Drew Doughty’s postgame thoughts…

(on the game…)
DOUGHTY: “It was an important win for us. We really had to come out of that losing skid. We weren’t happy with the way we were playing throughout that time and to finally get the win tonight was huge.’’

(on his first goal of the season…)
DOUGHTY: “It was about time. I’ve had a bunch of chances and the puck just wasn’t going in for me. Stolly made a great play, to find me in the high slot there, and I just fired it on net with a screen and hoped for the best, and luckily it went in.’’

(on the Kings’ power play…)
DOUGHTY: “Power play was great tonight. I felt we had a lot of chances and a lot of shots to the net. We had good traffic as well. (Anders Lindback) was just getting lucky, and the pucks were just catching pieces of his equipment, so we just need to learn from that and continue to do that and I think a lot more success will come.’’
