Goalie plan not tough to predict

Terry Murray’s goalie plan for the next two games was not difficult to predict. Jonathan Quick will start Monday at San Jose and Jonathan Bernier will start Tuesday against Nashville. Quick is coming off a stellar game last night against Pittsburgh, and Murray has displayed a tendency to start his No. 1 goalie against divisional opponents. Plus, Bernier has quite a history against Nashville, with a 4-1-0 record and a total of nine goals allowed in five games. Last season, Bernier faced the Predators four times and allowed 1, 1, 5 and 2 goals, respectively. So, Bernier will get the call on Tuesday.

MURRAY: “I’m not going to take (Quick) out right now. He’s going to play in San Jose. Right now, I feel that I’m going to get Bernier in there against Nashville. He had some nice games against them last year, and it’s back-to-back (games). I think it’s an opportunity that I will give to him.’’
