I hope Quick hasn’t cooled down given the extra 2 days off. We would be nowhere without him being on fire. Everyone has been saying that things are alright because we have a good record, but we are where we are because of one man, Jonathan Quick.
Quick is not going to have a .972 goals against average the rest of the year. As soon as he comes back to planet Earth, the Kings are going to have to score goals in order to win games. In the 2 games JQ hasn’t played in this year, we lost both of them. The same analogy can be said in the 1 game we lost in the shootout. Last year he was amazing, going 10-0, this year in his one try he came back to Earth and thus we lost. I hope he stays on fire, for his, and the Kings sake.

I’d really like to see the 2nd and 3rd line get on the score sheet. Regardless, lets just get the 2pts and get the hell out of Texas!

glad Parse is in for Penner on the #2 line.. and i even think Brownie may need to step off that line soon… need to give Richards some producing wingers with the way he sets stuff up and moves his feet. give him Richardson that guy puts in WORK.
My .02 – GO KINGS!!!!

@neil,
Neil – “Can you explain why the offense has struggled for 3 years?”
Terry Murray – “It’s easy to sum it up if you’re just talking about offense. We’re sitting here, and I’m supposed to be the Head Coach, and we’re talking about offense. I mean listen, we’re sitting here talking about offense, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we’re talking about offense. Not the game that I go out there and die for and coach every game last it’s my last but we’re talking about offense man. How silly is that? Now I know that I’m supposed to lead by example and all that but I’m not shoving that aside like it don’t mean anything. I know it’s important, I honestly do but we’re talking about offense. We’re talking about offense man. We’re talking about offense. We’re talking about offense. We’re not talking about the game. We’re talking about offense. When you come to the arena, and you see me coach, you’ve seen me coach right, you’ve seen me give everything I’ve got, but we’re talking about offense right now.”
Neil – “But it’s an issue that your fans continue to raise?”
Terry Murray – “Hey I hear you, it’s funny to me to, hey it’s strange to me too but we’re talking about offense man, we’re not even talking about the game, when it actually matters, we’re talking about offense.”

Philly getting exposed. Way over rated team. I actually think Detroit is over rated this year as well, but they got off to a nice start. I just think Detroit defense is gonna be a problem for them. I think this is a huge game for the Dallas psychy … they w\in they start to really get a feeling of confidence, they lose and they’ll start some internal wondering going on.

Odd coincidence- Brayden Schenn breaks his foot, and his roster spot is taken by Zac Rinaldo, the guy who put DD on the shelf.

Lets hope Kopi and Richards can pick us up offensively here tonight. I dont think we should expect another shutout from Quick. Its going to take at least 3 goals (we have only done that once in the first 60min of a game this year) to have a good chance to win tonight.
(predicted retort) Whats that? we need to score goals to win?
[Reply]
Kopi needs to score tonight…
Stars have been giving a lot of teams trouble
except us so far…We have to show up..
