Notes on Quick’s shutout streak

A couple pertinent notes on Jonathan Quick’s three consecutive shutouts and his shutout streak…

— Quick is the first Kings goalie in franchise history to record shutouts in three consecutive games. Tonight was his 17th career shutout (second most behind Vachon in franchise history).
— Quick now owns the franchise record for consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. Quick is now at 188 minutes, 10 seconds, breaking Rogie Vachon’s mark of 184:55 set in 1975.
— Quick is the first NHL goalie to record three straight shutouts since Columbus’ Steve Mason in Dec. 2008.
